These are a nice change of pace for a protein drink. They shake up with no residue and gritty texture. They are a little sweet for me so tried to blend with ice which failed and turned it into a foam. Shaken with ice was a nice "juice" flavor

This is the easiest way to add 20g of protein to my day. I mix it in with my electrolyte drink I have at lunch. It is pretty clumpy when you first mix it. I make my whole week’s worth of drinks on Sunday afternoon so they can mix a bit better in the fridge. PERFECT. Silky smooth for my lunches all week. Really nice taste too.

I do like this product, it's competitively priced against other clear proteins and is not overly sweet or sour so it's easy to drink even early in the morning during a workout. Great variety of flavors too. The Shaker itself leaves a lot to be desired though. Despite tightening it, simply shaking it makes the lid come loose. Or sometimes just during the course of drinking from it it will loosen and leak.

The clear protein powder tastes good, there is a slight aftertaste but not bad at all. My issue and my reason for the 3 stars is the shaker bottle that comes with the sample pack LEAKS. Liquid spills down the front of my shirt with every sip. Shaking results in a wet leaky bottle.

I came across this brand when trying to find a great tasting protein Isolate, drink for me. I found that a lot of the protein shakes taste disgusting, clumpy and chalky. I did end up getting the trial sizes of this product with 3 different flavors, and it came with a shaker bottle. I have to say this flavor was the best out of those 3. It's like your drinking juice, its so smooth. I did find that if you do not shake it enough. You will have some clumps floating around, but if you shake it vigorously, then let it settle, it would be smooth with no clumps. You can drink it room temperature or ice cold. Either way it's good. It is a little sweet, but that doesn't bother me because it tastes so good. It smells like candy and packs a good amount of protein in that 1 scoop.

ANIMAL's new Clear Whey has become my replacement breakfast for days when I'm hitting the gym early. I used to train fasted, I was never a fan of this though. I just couldn't hit the weights on a full stomach, it was a disaster. This allows me to get a substantial amount of protein without feeling bloated.Things I liked:Low in artificial sweetener and reduced lactose. These 2 things really seem to reduce belly bloat I get with many Protein shakes. No noticeable protein 'flatulence' either.Seemed to blend easy, and smooth. I didn't need to shake it like crazy to get a non-chunky drink.Pretty easy to fit in macros. It's 1g carbs and the rest is protein. It can be used no matter what diet.What I didn't like:This doesn't bother me, but may turn some of you off, it's not ridiculously sweet. I like ANIMAL's flavor profiles on their products because they really aren't super sweet. I'm not a fan of sweets. And to be honest, the reduced sweetness tends to mean a lot less artificial sweeteners, so no sugar free gummy bear bathroom blow outs.Overall, I think they did what they set out to do with the product. I have places I already plan to use it, like for an easy breakfast. I think this stuff would be amazing mixed in with yoghurt or cottage cheese. I may even attempt protein pancakes with it. The price point seems fair as well. Nice job ANIMAL a well deserved 5 stars.

Flavor was enjoyable, but expected more from the brand since it’s sold with the cup. I am a fan of really cold beverages and the cup provided didn’t hold temperature very well. It mixed up fine in an already owned water bottle. The mixture dissolved well with no clumps. The only reason for fewer stars was now I have an extra cup to keep in the cupboard.
