My last mattress was purchased 15 years ago and it was $2,500; a Sealy Posturepedic. It was great. So when I was shopping for mattresses now, I was looking at the old style mattresses that range from $1,500 - $4,000. I like a firm mattress. But not a plank. Something really supportive. But has some cushion to it. I liked the idea of “Medium Firm” with a Pillow Top on this mattress. Not too many out there.This mattress from Amazon, manufactured in China…..delivered to my door for about $350. Well, I figured it was probably going to suck, or have a big spring sticking in my back. Or the edges would collapse when I sat in the side of the bed. Or something…..for $350…,it could not be good, But we weee moving and I needed a new mattress. I thought we can buy it and then get a better one in 6 months. And I can put up with the crappy purchase for a few months.Surprise!! Holy heck! It’s been phenomenal! So comfortable. Firm, but has enough padding to be really comfortable. My wife doesn’t feel it when I move. So, I guess that’s like “Independent Suspension”. LOL. The edges don’t collapse any more than my $2,500 mattress….so, not at all.Some of these “Box Mattresses” are 55 lbs - 65 lbs. I bought this because it was heavy….like 140 lbs or similar. I figured it was just made better. And you know what? I was right! LUCKY! But right.Bottom line, I’ve only been sleeping on it for 2-3 weeks. So, I’ll report back in 6 months. But I gotta tell ya, in this world of everyone taking advantage of you and overcharging, and nickel and diming you for virtually everything. I feel like I finally won in a transaction. Absolutely the BEST $350 I’ve spent for the value I received. I took a HUGE chance. Got totally lucky. And am passing along my good fortune.I was looking at Box Mattresses for MONTHS, comparing every specification, reading every review., visiting stores, lying on mattresses, driving to do this stuff too. And I finally bought the cheapest mattress I could find, expecting a terrible experience. But my recommendation…..buy it before they figure out that they should charge more for it.I don’t have a dog in the fight. But I respect honest and thorough reviews. Hope this helps.

This mattress is worth every penny. I was hesitant to purchase a mattress in a box, however after reading reviews, I chose this one. Best purchase I ever made!It unrolled perfectly on to my bed frame. I waited pretty close to the 72 hours before sleeping on it. It was difficult as the mattress looked so inviting.The first night it felt firmer than I imagined but on the second night it was perfect. The pillow top adds a tiny bit of bounce (could possibly be because of the springs as well).I haven't slept this good in years!I have not felt the springs like others have mentioned however I only weigh 115 lbs.You cannot beat the price. I highly recommend this mattress for the price, for the ease of the setup and finally for the comfort.So if you are contemplating it, don't. Purchase it. You will not be sorry...

My mother needed a firm bed and when she received this bed she was impressed and happy with the mattress. She had to get a step stood because it raised her bed up higher. She loves it

I bought this for my guest room, I’ve had 4 people use it and each have liked it and slept well. It came nicely packaged in a tight roll. Easy to unroll and didn’t need too much time to pop into form. Not squeaky or loud. Med firm.

It took a few weeks, but I can say it's a decent mattress. I would buy it again.

Usually when a mattress comes in a box, you have to wait a few hours for it to blow up to its final form. As soon as we got the mattress out of its air tight packaging, it immediately inflated into the full size that it is. It was very easy to move onto our bedframe, and it’s very comfortable. A great addition to it would potentially be a mattress topper to add some firmness, but other than that it looks great.

The mattress I ordered was the pillow top with the cooling gel layer. What i received was of low quality, no pillow top, no gel layer. Very disappointing.
