In the world we live in now there is just no end to the gadgets we have that need to be charged. I am always looking for a more simplified way to charge multiple devices at a time. This outlet provides a way to do so cleanly. The construction is quality. The design is nice. However, there is just a single pole to connect the hot and common which isn't the end of the world, but not the greatest. The connection for the 3 USB ports is very solid!

Ordered this outlet for the electronics station in my new workshop. This outlet is so versatile with multiple standard and usb inputs available. There are 2 USB and 1 USB C input, as well as 2 standard plugs. The outlet is 20 A rated, but does not seem to have any UL listing or approval which is really my only reason for knocking a star off. This is not really something I thought much about prior to wiring my own building, but the safety risk is pretty real. I'll definitely have to keep a closer eye on this.

The USB ports are the fast-charging ports, I like the fact that you can use these ports at the same time as the 120-volt electrical outlets. The terminals are well marked to make for easy install even for a novice DIYer. I like these outlets as they make the room look modern with the USB ports.

I have been looking for a 20amp outlet that had charging ports for my cellphone and now I have it. In the workshop I needed to be able to charge my phone without taking up an outlet. I did not what to worry about my cellphone going down while working and forgetting to bring a charging brick. No worries now. The one note is the plug is big in the back. You will need a pretty exclusive box to put this in, one without a lot of other wires in it or your will need a deep or expanded box. Other than that, installation is no different than installing a regular outlet. This comes with three USB charging ports. Two type A and one type C. It provides 30W combined charging. You have a choice of colors, white or black. Installation is easy if you have a deep box just like any other outlet. The price is good. You can hunt around and you will probably find this for less and most assured for more. These are tamper resistant so there is less worry about little children sticking anything in and getting shocked. I am satisfied I got a good price and I am happy with this outlet.

The main drawback is that this thing is pretty deep. However, if your electrical box is deep enough, this is will prove to be a very versatile outlet. I have it in my office, as I always have something to charge (tablet, watches, mice, headphones, etc.). Installation was a snap. I ended up reusing a screw-less plate from an older non-fast charging version, so it looks nicer than with the included plate. The child safety shutters for the non-usb plugs make plugging in things a little more difficult (but worth the trade-off if you have toddlers). An unexpected bonus was the little blue LED that is right under the USB-C port. I assume that is to find it at night. They should highlight that feature in the listing.

I was tired of having to take charging blocks around the house so I could keep my cellphone charged. I had found some that were 20-amp but that was overkill for the bedroom or the living room. Now I found a 15-amp outlet with the fast-charging USB ports. This is great. I don’t have to waste outlet space and I can simply replace the existing outlets and now I have always available cellphone charging. Now that so many powered items use USB charging this is a must. This comes with two type A and one Type C charging ports. They look good and function well. They are tamper resistant plugs so that small children can not stick paperclips or other objects into the outlet. I am happy with this purchase and will get some 20-amp for the work shop.

This usb wall receptacle is fantastic, I wish I had one for each of my outlets in my house. The kit comes with all the parts you’ll need and even has step by step instructions if you’ve never wired an outlet before. It really cleaned up the one outlet we were using for a few items and added a modern convenience to our apartment. The receptacle feels robust and heavy and all of the connections were nicer than the receptacle that was already in the wall. There is a blue light that lights up from the usb c port so if you’re worried about lights in say a bedroom or something maybe look for a kit without that but where we have it it doesn’t bother us.

Installing this outlet was easy and straightforward, it also has the type of wire terminals I like where you still have a screw but you don't need to make a Shepards hook.I will say this, if you got an older home with shallow boxes this isn't going to fit, you need the modern blue boxes for this to fit as its pretty deep.In regard to the USB it had no problem charging my iPhone and iPad and saves me from having to have a charger plugged in taking up an outlet.
