I have a compressed nerve in my neck that I'm dealing with. I think it helps to wear a collar either to bed or for a few hours a day. The collar I was wearing at first came from the hospital when my husband had surgery. It was very hot and scratchy on my neck, plus it was over 4". I was thankful that this new one is 3.5 inches and the material is very soft and the collar has ventilation and is breathable. It comes with a sleeve that can be removed and washed. It is not stiff, and I think it offers adequate support. I think my neck is about 17" around and average length. The medium is perfect, plus there is probably a little room to place a thin ice pack behind my neck for when I need one. ( I recommend a soft fabric ice compress that can be found on Amazon as well) Good luck to everyone out there dealing with this same issue, hope you get relief soon.

The material on this neck brace is very comfortable and it comes with a sleeve to put on to protect it from body oil which is washable! I had neck fusion in 2012 and have permanent cervical instability this is very good I can sleep in it I did have to order the large to get the 3 1/2 inch rise. It was worth the money because it will last me a while.

I would like to start off by saying that I have tried multiple cervical collars through Amazon, and this one by far is the most comfortable. This product is very soft, the material is almost like a memory foam or a plush item, but a bit more form to provide you with the support you might need. Its' very comfortable, while I do not recommend doing so, I have actually fallen asleep with this item on, that's how pleasant my experience has been with this item. I have found that it has been very supportive of my neck and serves it's purpose. I like this item over the others that I have tried because the supportive piece in the front that was soft and did not feel as though it were choking me or made me uncomfortable as I was both still and mobile. I was roomy yet securing. It comes with this nice sleeve that assists with temperature control so that you are not too hot if you were it for long periods of time. It also keeps you warm if you are in cooler environments. One of the ratings on here included "pain relief"; I cannot say whether or not it will provide pain relief, as we all experience pain differently. Furthermore, what I can attest to, is that it provides stress relief and alleviates the pressure on my neck that I experience. It was very useful in providing support and stability as I experience weakness in my neck. On a scale of 1-10 (10 being the best), I rate this product an 8.5.

This neck collar is too small for most men, but the quality is good and soft for a woman.

I bought 5 different braces. Mainly for the colors. Let me tell you. All braces are not equal. This was my firstpurchase. But I wanted blackand dark colors for work.More discreet. This color draws attention. Anyway,forget it. I will answerquestions LIKE What happened ? Why are you wearing that? Did you hurt yourself? Didyour lawyer tell you to wear that? Lol This is the best design out there. It is great! As the others hit your chin. They are stiff, super uncomfortable. They are either to tall or not tall enough. Too stiff or too soft. Forget about sleeping in them.This brace, you forget youhave on. Great support for sleeping. I can sleeep on myside . I guess I will buy a couplemore. The draw back is the cover doesn't come off. Soonce I wash by hand and layout to dry, I hope it's still thesame. I wouldn't dare put inwasher and dryer. Yes buy it !You will not regret and for themanufacturer.... please makemore colors. Black and blue.

The stitching around the velcro ripped the first time I took it off.But it is comfortable and a good size. I have chronic neck pain from bad posture and after wearing it at my computer for maybe only an hour, I felt my neck relax in a way I haven't felt in years, which was incredible.I will be replacing this one to see if this was just a defective one or if it's a quality issue in general and will update my review.Edit: I don't know if the stitching is better or not on the replacement because I could tell that it was used as soon as I took it out of the bag. It is disgusting to resell an item that was used on someone's body that touches their skin directly around their face without washing it first. I just had covid when I was using the one that I just had to return because it was ripped. So hopefully no one gets that one resold to them. Good luck buyers.

I am so glad I ordered this. The only one with next day delivery and in my size11/3 inches. It arrived last night and put it on immediately, cause I have been in pain. It feels a bit strange at first ( first time user) but soon your muscles let go and you relax. It was so comfortable I slept with it.Fabric is silky so it won't bother your skin or chin. Besides it comes with a cover you can wash.I have the C 5 pain in the neck LOL which gives me nerve pain, tingling and numbness to both arms all the way to my fingers.I was in excruciating pain last year from December till March. But I was treated by a Chiropractor with great success but unfortunately bad posture at work 8 hour in front of a PC plus the cold weather I think brought back the pain and if I don't do anything it will get worse and I will be in terrible pain again. This time at least I know what it is and how to help myself. Special excersices, stretching, the C pillow, rest, take a break from activities or hobbies which exacerbated this condition.As a bonus since you cannot open your mouth, you won't be able to snore or breath by your mouth which is not that good for anybody but specially if you have the GERD/ Asthma combo.Wearing this few hours a day when feeling pain or sleeping with it will definitely helps relieve some necks conditions.Totally recommend it!
