Missing bolt. I knew that after reading reviews. M6 fine thread worked for me. Pretty sweet looking fairing and didn’t take long to install. Worked on 2008 sporty with minimal gap

Easy installation. Took me about 20 minutes.

I wanted to change up the look of my 2017 Sportster and the Katur headlight fairing did just the trick! The price was well within the amount I wanted to pay and I was willing to compromise on the risk of it being a total bust, but I was surprised with the overall experience and product. The install was relatively easy, but there was a missing bolt that everyone mentions, so I wasn’t too surprised by that. It’s the bolt that sits in the center, on the rubber mounted nut which connects the actual headlight to the mounting hardware and fairing. So before you start the install, make sure you go to the local hardware store and find one that’ll fit, and add a washer (or two) for good measure. The install took about 30-40 mins with all the tools within reach and so far after a few hundred miles it’s still on there nice and tight. The finish of the fairing itself is a glossy black and is a 8 ft looker; if you’re looking for perfection, then you might want to consider prepping and respraying. The way came out of the box was good enough for me, for now. Lastly, the fitment around the headlight is almost perfect. The opening for the light sits a bit off center, towards the top, but it doesn’t distort the light one bit and looks just fine. I’m sure I could get it closer to center, but not a big deal. Overall pretty happy with it.

Installed on my 2019 iron 883. Installation easy and well i tighten the screw tight and plastic broke to hold fairing. For now one screw is holding fairing and its stable so far at 110mph . Yes you read that correctly. At high speed it still holds. Issue i had when arrived and many people say on reviews. 1 screw seems to be missing in the package. But will still hold with 1 screw. Overall i like the look but its a cheap plastic. Do not buy. The fairing broke off due to Vibration of the bike.

Instructions aren’t very descriptive. The quality of the product is good. Hardware is finicky, I have a piece I don’t know what to do with.

Don’t care what the ad says, you can make it fit anything with a little creativity. If you need the dealer to install parts, this ain’t for you.The plastic is surprisingly thick and robust. I’ve had it installed on my Roadstar Warrior for 9-10 months and it hasn’t moved a bit. In fact that gap of protection between the top of the shield and the top of your headlight make a great place to put a ball cap without the wind blowing it away.
