I would definitely recommend un-rolling, and laying them flat, weighing them down for a minimum of 36 hours prior to installing so they do not curl back up. Prep the floor, fill any imperfections, gaps, and get it as smooth as possible especially if going directly over a plywood subfloor. Paint the floor a week or so in advance using a good latex paint so the flooring sticks. It will not stick to raw wood. It is thin, so we used a paper cutter to cut it. It worked perfectly. It does install very easily. My 22 y/o daughter & I did a lot of prep work the weekend prior, and we did lay down the planks in a 12'x13' bedroom, with a 3'x8' closet in about 3 1/2 hours. It is thin, so imperfections do show through, especially once it settles, but we figured that would be the case, so we put a simple, washable 8'x8' throw rug over it. It's a bedroom that had old wall to wall carpet that we ripped out ourselves. All in all, I think it looks fine, and will suit the purpose for a few more years until I can afford real hardwood flooring.

Pros: the flooring is beautiful, the quality is good, seems sturdy enough to hold, lays well if you do it as instructed, customer service is amazing.Cons: adhesive isn’t the best so you should definitely add your own to it.
