This flask is brilliant. It keeps water piping hot for drinks all day even when some has been used. It’s robust and well designed. Still perfect after over two years’ of use so had to add a review. Wish I’d bought it sooner!

Initially this seemed expensive, but after reading a lot of reviews and doing some research I went for this as it was one of the top rated flasks out there.I went for the biggest size as it lasts a good amount of time, plus I can refill my wife's smaller on from it when she runs out.I love the colour of it, and it seems very durable on the outside. The lid also insulates the flask, and being metal it will last when being put on surfaces.The handle feels nice but is rattly when extended so it does clang a bit when picking it up etc.It's fairly heavy when full of water but has a very nice balance when holding from the handle, and seems to fit nicely in even a small backpack (Osprey daylite plus) if you need to.I use this only for ice cold water, and I went on holiday on a Monday, filled it with ice and then water, then just refilled it with water each day when needed. The ice survived multiple water refills and finally melted on Friday which is amazing it's like having a hand held fridge on tap.If you're wondering whether to get one, think of it as an investment, you can take this for walks, in the car on a hot day, or just at your bedside every night and you'll always have hot or ice cold water.

I bought this flask just over a year ago (September 2022) due to the fact I needed something to contain and keep boiled hot water for making several cups of tea throughout the day as I am working from home and really couldn't bare the thought of keep boiling the kettle every time I wanted a cuppa.Now yes it is debatable on whether or not boiling a full kettle and keeping in a flask saves money on energy over just boiling a mug's worth of water for each cuppa - but I decided to go the flask route as in my mind it is a conscious thing not to boil the kettle over and over again.As it is a Stanley product I am well aware of the reliability of their tools and other items - so it seems this follow into the flasks... and they have built flasks for a few decades.The materials are of robust construction - inside is stainless steel and stay relatively clean by just flushing out with clean water after each use - but i do a more deeper clean each weekend using a non-toxic solution sterilising agent.Now how long can it keep that freshly boiled water hot? Well I have found that filling the flask full at 08:45 in the morning it is still hot at 10pm at night (after doing a test). Now obviously after opening and using the water for around 5 cups of tea the lesser the water in the flask the shorter the 'keeping hot' effects wear off... but even with around two mugs of water left the water is still hot at 6pm... so not much of a difference.Yes we all know that the perfect cup of tea should be done by pouring freshly boiled water - but for saving money I have found the flask option still makes a good cuppa. And for those who drink coffee then it is a perfect option.HINT:On a Monday morning I fill the kettle with hot tap water (from a Combi-boiler) about quarter full to warm the flask up first - then I boil a full kettle - and when boiled I make my first cup of tea, empty the warm water from the flask then the remaining hot water I fill the flask full and seal it shut with the stopper and cup-top.Any unused hot water remaining in the flask I keep in there for the following morning as it keeps the flash warm again for the following day procedure.Overall I have found this a great item to makes those quick cuppas flowing instead of standing waiting for the kettle to boil again.After a year of use it is still keeping freshly boiled water very hot all day.As I am not a camper or hiker as such - this 1.9ltr flask is probably on the large side if only requiring a couple of drinks as it does hold a large amount of water - so for hiking I would recommend a smaller flask - just check on what size you would need. But I would recommend Stanley.

Keeps hot things hot and cold things cold for hours and hours. Great for working in a field!!!!!Coffee all day!!!!

If there was a professionals league for thermos flasks, this would be leading the field. It is as solid as such a flask can be and keeps the contents hot or cold for an impressive amount of time. Only draw back is that it is made in China, so the carbon footprint is considerable.

You get what you pay for and this keeps things hot, great overall value, divide the cost by the expense of today's coffee & Tea vendors and its paid for in under a week !

Je suis très heureuse de mon achat, malgré le prix. Je ne suis franchement pas dessus, il garde les glacons toute la journée en pleine chaleur et plis si le temps est couvert. Je ne la quitte plus.Je recommande fortement et songe à m'en acheter une autre de taille différente!

Es bueno y muy bien construido... eso si, es gigante. Piensa que para tener un litro de capacidad es necesario que el cubicaje exterior ronde el tamaño de una botella de 2 litros.La prueba fue con bebida fría de la nevera durante 8 horas en el termo expuesto al exterior y 3 horas al sol. Y la bebida se mantuvo bastante fría.Es muy robusto y el tapón hace de vaso grande, con lo que es cómodo para beber. La boca de acceso para rellenar es muy grande, lo que facilita el llenado o vaciado, pero no resulta muy cómoda para beber por ella directamente.Made in china, es lo malo, pero casi inevitable.

I bought this thermo for a mountaineering expedition in Georgia, to keep fluid water in cold temperatures available. So far it does a good job keeping my tee warm for 12 hours in the late summer now, so I am waiting to test it soon in extreme conditions.
