I love the look and smooth tactile feel of this shelf unit. I bought it for my kitchen's (white) windowsill, to store small jars etc. I didn't want a shelf that looked plain or too utilitarian. The depth, front to back, is what drew me to this particular shelf unit - ideal for a windowsill where a window-opener takes up part of the space.Came in a plain cardboard box, but it also shipped inside a sturdy Amazon box so I'd say it was well-packaged overall. The shelf comes totally disassembled, and there's a small transparent bag containing the screws that's loose inside the box. Came without instructions; the only help you get are the advert pictures on the Amazon page showing it fully assembled, all in pieces, and one showing it partly assembled. Hubby put it together before I could call up the advert photos to show him, plus a moment to put in the screws. So it is possible to assemble this in seconds, and without any visual or written instructions. It would've taken me longer though.I'd already worked out, when the item arrived, that the shelf isn't that sturdy and won't take heavy weight. Hubby reckons the top shelf would bow in due course, and I shouldn't put things of any weight on that part; either that or he'll install a support from below but that would reduce the amount of storage on the lower shelf.It's a bit overpriced but that was obvious when I ordered it. I ordered it anyway and am pleased I did. It'll be worth it if the shelf lasts; if it doesn't last a reasonable time I'll be back to edit this review.

Great for cookery books in kitchen

It's too expensive for what it is.

Ok, so it's a bit flimsy, not top quality wood and wouldn't stand a lot of weight or rough usage, but it looks really good on my kitchen worktop with plenty of room for mugs, tea and coffee packets etc. I put it together easily (no instructions provided) in less than ten minutes.

Easy to assemble, used on dressing table for perfumes and looks lovely. Would buy more if table was bigger.

Make up items

Simple enough just to slot together. The finish could have been a tad better but overall I'm satisfied. I use it as a herb and spice shelf, it looks very nice for the purpose.

You should realistically put this together in 5 mins but because of the material and joint Interlocking not being a good fit it took me at least20mins as I was trying not to break the flimsy material that it's made of, one section was marked but once erected it looked ok
