These stair treads have been a lifesaver for our family. Our dog couldn’t walk down the stairs because the composite decking is so hot in summer months. It burns her feet, as well as ours. These treads are the best quality. Heavy and the rubberized backing holds them firmly in place. We recently found our dog has developed cataracts which compromises her depth perception and vision. These treads really help her confidence going up and down the steep stairs. They are attractive looking too. Just need to spray them off with the hose and they look like new. I just ordered another set for the bottom steps. This was a wonderful investment for our family. They are worth every penny of the price.

Being in the texas sun, these will fade. However I purchased these to protect my puppies paws. The color was perfect that match the painted steps when first arrived but after a little while they faded. Doesn't affect the quality durability or softness. They are very heavy and probably need to be tacked down so they don't move. I think that could be a little bit cheaper.

These are not tacky on the back, but even with my two dogs running full speed out the door and down the steps they stay in place. On EXTREME windy days they may shift a tiny bit, but nothing major. Comfy on bare feet too! I may consider tacking them down on each end, but so far they are great as is.

Just put these out last week, so don’t know how they will hold up over time, but I read most of the reviews before I ordered them... most said they hold up well abc I’m inclined to believe them. These are nice... thick and durable. So far, they’ve stayed in place, but am watching to see if they shift a little when the grandkids are being rough on them. So far, so good. I will tack them down if I need to. These are dark gray and nice looking... they have a felt-like texture on the top and rubber-like backing. I’m very happy with them.Update: these held up great! They will slide a little if not tacked down, but have never lost any, but we don’t get major wind here… maybe 50mph gusts at the most. I’m going to order two more sets because I really should have replaced these last year, but I’m very happy with the product - they are durable and a good price.

It stuck to the outdoor stairs I’m using it with, and provides great traction.

They are super pretty and I needed the traction for my concrete steps to help my senior dog maneuver his way outside. Two things that bother me. Because the bottom is textured due to the design, the tape does not really stick to it at all. It sticks to the concrete but not to this stair rug. Second, it stays wet after it rains for quite a while. The rain pools inside the rug where I am constantly using a broom to dislodge any accumulated water. Let's see what happens during the winter time when the water freezes…

We bought several of these sets. Do wish there were options to get exactly the number we wanted, but we got them for our dog, to assist and getting up the treks steps and they work! They are mostly sopping wet in a Seattle winter but they seem to be stable.
