4 of the 8 minutes O took to change these out on my 2001 BMW 330ci convertible were spent looking for a small screwdriver to pop the clips off the old trunk lift supports. This is a super easy fix and a good value.

Fit like a champ, just $20

It's a trunk strut and it works on my E46 M3 convertible. I've replaced both left & right but it was too powerful & fast on the way up. I put back one of the old one & it's found good balance. So the car has one old & one new. Can't say about the durability yet.

They installed in less than an hour and have been holding up well. I have the convertible, & when the top is down (which this summer has been almost every day) I open and close my trunk several times a day because this is where I put my briefcase for work) They perform just like new and I could not be more pleased. If these begin to get "soft" I will buy another set from this company. But with the way they are performing it might be a few more years. Great product.

These are great replacements for the original trunk lift supports, took less than 10 minutes to install, arrived in great condition and packaging
