A Serious Knee Brace!
DURABLE: I have a lifelong history of knee injuries and have worn dozens of knee braces, but this one is truly a serious brace. I suspect I'll use it for the rest of my life, it's so sturdy. SIZE: The size thing is confusing, and unfortunately did not work for me. Frankly, in clothing, I wear a size XL, so when I measured like the instructions advised, I came out needing a size 2XL. Surely didn't sound right to me, but I ordered the 2XL anyway. Brace arrived fairly quickly and I put it on for a busy holiday day. It was simply too tight! Hard to believe with it being a 2XL, so I wore it a second day thinking it might loosen up, but it did not, hence its sturdiness. RETURN AND REORDER: I followed the Return instructions (knowing they would retain shipping costs which was about $5) and received a refund, but there was no "exchange option." I ordered the exact same brace again, only this time in a 3XL size. Received it on the same day I received my refund for the returned item. END RESULT: This is an exceptional item from a company who treated me fairly when I had to return the item for size reasons. If people who have an honest-to-goodness need for a knee brace are comparing, this one is impressive.

Uncomfortable
The opening at the back of the knee pinched my skin so much that it hurt to bend my knee. Returned and getting a different brand.

Good and Bad points
Very sturdy. If you have twisted your knee or otherwise injured it and have to prevent it from twisting and irritating the injury...this will definitely do the job. Keep in mind though, in order to be this sturdy it will and is a bit bulky and heavy. In spite of the advertising hype, it does slip down because it is so heavy and bulky. I found I have to stop and pull it back up over the knee frequently, whether walking or just lounging around. The product folks will not be happy about my last remark, but that's just too bad. I'm not part of their sales force or paid to hype the product, so I can tell it like it is. (At least in my experience)However; having said all that, if you are in the initial treatment stage for a sprained knee, bakers cyst of the knee, or a case of tendonitis of the lower leg and need to hold your leg steady while it heals...this will work for you. Just keep in mind it is sturdy, bulky, and heavy.Later, you can switch to a lighter, more comfortable brace. That's my story and I"m sticking to it! JonB

Brace May Win The Race
BraceAbility appears to work; it does not have label name on brace as in photo. But everything else appears be as stated. It is the best fit as for size goes. I ordered another for the other leg.

HORRIBLY UNCOMFORTABLE - DO NOT BUY!!!
Do not buy this product!!! Although the brace fits me fine, the back of my knee started to chafe within 5 minutes of me wearing it walking around. What they don't show in the photos is the back part of the brace, which stupidly has a circular opening just like the front. This makes it so that with every step you take, this circle deforms into the back of your knee, constantly rubbing the fabric against it. To make things worse, this is also where they decided to put a large and abrasive seam in the coarse fabric, further speeding up the chafing. Also, although this brace is advertised as wearable during activity, it is actually horribly restrictive in your range of motion - The brace is very un-bendable: I had trouble bending my leg when sitting in a chair and I can't imagine trying to run, hike, or bike in this brace. Essentially all you can do comfortably is stand in one spot and not move. Incredibly poorly designed. Save your $60 and go somewhere else.
