DO not even waste your money or time with this book!!! AVOID!!!
This book is not worth your time or money it says dog shampoo and shampoo recipes and I was hoping a real formulas for those. But like everybody else it teaches you how to make shampoo off already made castile soap. I mean really?. And make dog shampoo with dish soap??? how ridiculous is that? and what I waste of my money. Make body wash with castile soap? these are good information for beginners... not if you sell, have a business or is already more than just a basic soap maker this book is definitely not for you. I just wish people posted real reviews about this book before I wasted my money purchasing it. There are no real recipes in this book other than mix and make stuff with products that are out there in the market already. Not recommended and I wish I could get my money back. AVOID!!!

Do Not Purchase Book
I have been making cold process soap for over 8 years. I want to try making liquid soap for my customers. I purchased this book for the information on how to make liquid soap. This writer does not list any of the safety equipment to use. Making soap is not for everyone. When using LYE it can cause injury. Lye is what we put in drains to clear the pipes and it is an acid. I could have written this non informative book in a day and I was the fool who purchased it. DO NOT PURCHASE. I would feel very bad if someone got hurt using her recopies.

Pretty weak introduction to both soap and business
There are probably much better products out there if you want to learn about how to actually start a soap business. This book is extremely basic and doesn't provide much advice past a few recipies. Good for entry level pleasure reading I guess.

Robinson combines her years of experience and passion for the craft into this one essential book that no entrepreneur should be without. After experiencing a terrible rash on her neck and arms, Robinson consulted several doctors to figure out what was the cause. Upon learning that the chemicals in her shampoo and personal care products were responsible for her rash, she was shocked. But she soon decided to do something about it, and she took it upon herself to learn all she could about natural and organic body care products. Very basic
Pages started to fall out the first time I opened it. Very vague information. No recipes. Very basic singular definitions of each product. No variations or recommendations for different needs wether you’re looking for more moisture or less greasiness in your lotion or shampoo. Just the key ingredients for a base and no direction. Will need to purchase another source for these options.

Great read!
I got this book because I’m hoping to start an Etsy business making soaps and thought this book would help me on my way! So far so good, I like that this one is a longer book, sometimes the ebooks are kind of short. I’m focusing on the goat milk soap.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading and LEARNING from this book. As a first-time writer, I sincerely think, the author did a great job. She was quite well organized, full of great ideas and quite methodical in her narrative. By doing so, she offered newcomers into the liquid soap making business, enough useful information as to ignite their passion into catapulting this hobby into a viable business. For this, I am grateful.
I rated this book 4 out of 5. I liked the way it was organized to be simple, straightforward and impactful especially for a novice in liquid soap making like myself. It will help to ignite the passion of anyone who has an entrepreneurial disposition towards liquid soap-making or similar products.

Pretty Basic
I was looking for a business start up guide for soap making and was expecting more from this book. Most of it is pretty basic info that a seasoned soaper should already know and you want to know this already before starting a business! The first half of the book is about ingredients available to you, which is all on google. Its good if you have no idea how to make these products and are starting from scratch. It doesn't really delve into the business side of things, like inventory, tracking, organization etc. It gives basic suggestions of how to sell and market; have a website, social media etc. Stuff you are probably already doing. Its also USA based so doesn't provide accurate info if you're not from there. There's nothing really valuable in here because all of it can be found in a google search. It's easy to read and can be a good physical reference but otherwise, it's a pretty basic guide.

Scandaleux!
