Q: will the metal discolor or turn my ear green?

This is sterling silver that is not rhodium plated. I personally haven't had that issue. However I can't say with 100% certainty that you wouldn't. I suggest that you go on your previous experience with sterling silver earrings. Good luck and God bless.

I just bought one pair, but many colors were pictured. Said they were from different colored kinds of glass. They are round, flat on the back & kind of dome shaped on the front. I found them very pretty & well made. Love the ones I ordered.

Q: Do these come in a box?

They did! I lovely, small gift box with a card inside telling about where the glass was found. Would be beautiful for gift giving.
