We love that its large enough, a row of dishes and smaller items, ie little bowls or glasses can fit on the drain on the left side. Its perfect for our needs and seems well made. THX!

I hate dish drainer racks. They're ugly, they're space hogs, they get slimy and hard to clean, cumbersome, you name it. I've tried many styles and materials and surrendered to using those german made pressed fiber towels that are supposed to be super absorbant. I'd just lay it down on the counter. Those worked great but then it was a balancing act to pile dishes and bowls on a flat surface. Anything to avoid a big ugly dish rack. When I saw that a friend had one of these folded up and placed right behind the sink I thought, jackpot! THAT'S the perfect dish rack right there. Streamlined, folds up, holds a lot, SOLD. I've been using it happily for a couple months now. Leaves me enough counter space. I even like the drain board. No wet countertop! Very practical all around.

The good:It's quite large. It's replacing a really old one and it seemed, until I ran across this, 'they' weren't making them this big any more. Also, it has the plate slots the entire length, again, unlike most I saw. The utensil holder is square rather than rectangle which for me, is better for getting in there to thoroughly clean.The not-so-good:It began to rust within 2 weeks of use. I got plain chrome, not paint-covered, so I guess maybe I should've expected that. Still....Also, the spokes or openings or whatever you want to call them, on the short sides, are fairly widely spaced, so you need something like a plate or large lid or something, on both ends to keep stuff from falling through. When I don't have plates or pot tops etc running the length, saucers, mugs & serving utensils, have fallen through and out to the floor. You can't change the position of the utensil holder. It can be removed once you cut,the zip ties, but if you do, you leave a huge corner with no spokes and again, you risk stuff falling through.Not really related to the functioning but its going to be hard to find a large enough draining board to go under it. I had to really rehab my old one because I needed one large enough for this to sit on completely but that drained on the long side (many drain on the short side); it'd be nice if there had been a drain board to purchase.

I was so happy to find this to replace my old one that is almost exactly like this. This one has little feet protectors which my older one didn't have. Which is nice. It's Good quality. Nice & study. I love it. My only complaint is for the price it should come with a drain pan under it. So it's a little pricey. But our last one lasted 10 years so i'm hoping this one will too.

I used one of these while staying at a Hampton Inn that had a kitchenette. I thought it was so useful that I immediately ordered one when I got home. Nice product - does the trick and doesn't rust. I put a dishtowel beneath the tray (on top of the mat that comes with it). The black mat tends to get water stained especially if you have hard tap water - the dishtowel beneath does the trick...

I really like this product! It's sturdy and surprisingly large for the price. I like the fact that it has the little things on the side (no idea what they're called) so I can hang my cups/mugs there without them taking up space in the actual holder. I'm not sure how the coating will hold up over time, but so far so good! Overall awesome product for the price!

Beautiful drainer however it is short in length and did not indicate on product description.too cumbersome to return, so live with this constant lack of information consequence.

This is a great folding metal rack but the drain board is inadequate. I had to purchase another one separately. If you can buy the metal rack separately and add a drain mat or drain board you will be better off. That's why I gave different stars for this combined product.
