Pumps fine but not a continuous flow.
We installed the 1100W pump yesterday. Once we jiggled the float to get it to turn on it immediately started pumping water out of a creek, with a vertical lift of about 15 feet. Using a discharge hose of 1.5 inches the flow was good, however the pump mimics the human heart. The flow is not continuous, rather it pumps rhythmically like a human heart. I went to the manufacturers store and was told to please contact them first with problems, but they gave no way to contact them!! Also, the pump was advertised as having a 36 foot cord included, but the cord on my pump is only 16 feet long. Deceptive advertising! Anyone out there know if using a check valve would eliminate the 'heart beat' flow problem?

Bad Float
The pump pushes water well, but the float is a piece of junk. I put the pump in a 55 gallon can which was almost 3 foot deep when filled. When plugged in the pump would not activate until I manually picked up the float to get the ball switch inside the float to activate. That makes this pump worthless.
