Great Inks.
These are fantastic. I was looking for a new medium with vibrant colors and really enjoy these. I bought both sets for the full range of 24 colors, transferred the inks to 15ml needle-tipped bottles so I could measure drops for mixing colors consistently, and got to work making basic color charts and swatches. I tried making them with 100% ink at first and it was pretty streaky and goopy, so I experimented with diluting them with water first and found that 1 part water with 2 parts ink really helped reduce that and only needs a few washes to get bright vibrant colors. Equal parts ink and water also provides a smooth even wash and gives the inks more of a watercolor effect. I eventually want to try the brand's watercolors. The color charts are on Bee Paper Company's Aquabee Watercolor paper. It isn't super expensive and you can often get the small pack cheap at craft stores with a coupon. The inks look fairly nice on that paper, and I have also ordered some Arches watercolor paper to see if I can use that for a smoother look. The painting I have posted here is on 100% cotton cardstock (111 lb / 300gsm - super white) which was still a little streaky, but looks pretty cool in real life. I'm hoping the higher quality watercolor paper will help give a smoother look, but it was good for messing around with brush application.

Wonderful!!!!!
These dyes are incredible. Seriously absolutely wonderful. The colors are rich and vibrant, they look beautiful on wood (which is what I've been using them on and on wood at least, they have a very subtle shine that really brings out the grain of the wood and and gives the color a lot of depth.I've been using them to stain my woodburnings and they're transparent enough for the burns to come through while still adding a ton of color.I've attached a picture of my current work in project as an example. It's my first time using these inks so it doesn't look as polished as it could, but this'll at least give you an idea of how well the dye works with pyrography.

Definitely Get These! <3
I have some WIP marker/ink pictures (marker for the line-work, inks for color and final line-work). I absolutely love these inks. I mix them with the FW brand fluorescent inks. I'd highly recommend these. I will definitely keep buying these. I love how you can later them and make cool colors (depending on how you layer them matters, the background of this image is blues and greens which I coated with some yellow then covered with black. The other colors are layered as well like pink under purple, green over yellow, etc. Some colors are mixed, like the pink on the brain which is the white and magenta). I'm still learning how to use them and am slowly getting more courageous with them but so far, they are my favorite medium to use!! I hope to get better using them but so far I'm really enjoying them. I'd recommend getting some nice brushes (I use small detail brushes for most and filberts for larger areas).Definitely get these inks if you have the slightest interest. I doubt you'll regret it. They're very beautiful and very fun. It may take some practice though and trial and error but it's worth it :)I've added three pictures of the process o was going through (it's still a WIP but I'm loving it so far!). I also did a mother's day card that turned out pretty flipping awesome. I'm in love with these inks.

Fantastic!
Amazing! I love love love this product! Anyone who is interested in art should be interested in purchasing these! Colors are vibrant, brilliant and exciting. Can be used with acrylics and watercolor and other water-based products. Or you could write with it! I used an eye dropper to apply. They are difficult to pour and could be a real mess if spilled, as with any India Ink. I dont know how color mixing with acrylics would go. But on my abstract drip painting, the dripped colors blended beautifully on the page. Will try to load a photo or two. Also work well over gesso on canvas. Definitely worth it!

Highly pigmented and permanent
This ink is exactly what I expected it to be. It is highly pigmented yet is shear as this type of ink should be with colorfastness and quick drying time, it is easy to layer it. I am happy with my purchase and the price is very reasonable.

It's very good ink but price is inflated as other inks are closing the gap that cost much less.
A bit expensive but if this is the brand you want then nothing I say will change that. Otherwise, there ARE comparable inks at better prices. This used to be one of the best, but no longer does it hold that supreme lead. The color is clear and rich not watery. It works with a variety of pens and even brushes. Bottles are appropriate for dispensing ink and color choice is good to great depending on how you use inks.
