Prismacolor pencils are high quality art pencils for use in many projects. I love the variety of colors.

Love the Chartreuse but way too expensive. The convenience of Amazon next day S&H is what made me buy this here at $6 instead of ETSY @$2 bc I'd have to pay additional s&h cost on etsy. It's convenient and of course bright color. I have 180 Shuttle Art and 72 Soucolor and can't quite get this exact match in those sets. I'm not exactly a fan of the open ends on these PC Premiers soft core. I like SC and SA pencil ends best. In theory I'd spend less than $1 if I purchased the full set but right now I just need specific colors not readily available.It comes in a plain plastic zip lock bag nothing special there, no bubble wrap etc to prevent damage in transit.The attached drawing shows the beautiful hue in the hat. ITS A SIMPLE TEST BUT QUALITY IS SIMILAR TO SHUTTLE ART WITH ITS SMOOTH APPLICATION while SOUCOLOR is a little scratchy for some pencils. You may not be able to see the test area Pic well but by far of the 3 brands this is best, so far. Just received so can't attest to longevity or durability. 3* STARS simplest bc oof the price point for 1 unit and LESS THAN IDEAL S&H.LOVE 24/7 _ Overall I love the pencil itself. I'll be looking forward to oil pencils next.

I have over 500 colored pencils, so I thought I had seen it all. Before finding this, I thought I had just about every color possible for colored pencils. Now that I've bought this, it opens up a whole new world of colors for me to find. Perhaps my next colored pencil will be smaragdine. Maybe it'll be amaranth. Perhaps if I'm particularly adventurous, I'll find a coquelicot colored pencilThe pencil has been useful for all of my chartreuse coloring needs. I notice very little difference in performance between it and other pencils.Overall, it was a good buy.

Arrived with no problems. Just another color to add to my colored pencil collection. Wish that Prismacolor would make some new colors. Like “Porcelain White”, “Lipstick Red”, “Lipstick Light Pink”, “Grey-Violet”, “Honey Brown”, “Green Tea” and “Red Tea”. That would make me very happy. Also “Snow” White as well.

For the same price, you can obtain 4 or 5 of these from numerous art supply dealers.

He advertises 12 but only gives one pencil.
