Feline Fresh Naturals Pine Cat Litter, 20 lbs

I am thrilled with this litter. I just scoop out the poop and the urine is mostly absorbed, but what isn't absorbed goes to the pads (which are large so I have to fanfold them) I had left over that I had from my 🐕which passed recently😢. I got the idea from the Breeze litter box. I believe that I'm saving on time and litter with this method. One warning only use about a 1 1/2" of litter, you can add a little. It has two bottoms so it makes it easier in changing the litter when it is time.

No stink, no mess. We actually used this in our RV (I put a cat door in the vanity cabinet) it was that good. Cats poop on top rather than flinging litter all over the place digging a hole, and the poops dessicate so fast there's no smell. Ditto the pee. It's absolutely amazing. A 1.5" layer in the litterbox will last 2 weeks, so this bag lasts a looong time. You can do the same thing cheaper if you buy "horse bedding pellets" from the feed store, but not everybody has room for a 50lb sack of litter, and hey, this gets shipped to my door.

I made a mistake and purchased the very small pellets. I like the larger ones, which absorb more before they disintegrate into sawdust... keeps the litter box from filling up so quickly. My mistake. NEXT time, I'll get the larger pellets, but love the product. It really works to keep urine odor to a minimum, and to keep the litter box dry, which my cat appreciates. (I have the piggy-back litter box system where the sawdust falls through the holes in the upper layer to the bottom. I can usually go a week before changing the lower box, as long as I scoop daily... and virtually no smell!)

cat did not like pawing this litter, and tiny bugs seem to hatch, also liquid causes the pellets to grow and then break down... that freaked my cat out.

Expensive. Costs only $15 at a local pet store.
