The Siren Song (The Cronus Chronicles Book 2)

Loved this sequel to The Shadow Thieves.
These books just keep getting better. I loved the story and sense of humor. My one disappointment was that the book delivered didn't have the dust jacket shown. It had new artwork which didn't match the other books I have from the series.

Couldn't put this book down......
I bought this book due to mainly curiosity concerning my 11 year old granddaughter who had read it previously. I am in my 60's and I found this book fascinating!

Good, fast interesting read
Again - I am a grandmother reading and discussing this with a granddaughter. She loves the series so far. This book in the series (2) tells the story of Charlotte who in the 1st book saved the world. She is grounded because her parents think she was disobeying them when she and her cousin Zee were keeping the world safe from the gods. This time she saves her parents and a ship full of other adults from Posiden. How she gets into the predicament and how she gets out of it is what makes the story exciting.

Great story
i read to my young son every night. We both are enjoying the story of two kids going up against immortals. Glad they are winning so far.

Interesting
It was a suspenseful book from the beginning. For my 10 year old brain this was a book that reached out and grabbed me

Mythology Revisited
This second installment in the Cronus Chronicles carries Zee and Charlotte on to new adventures, ever more dire decisions and we get to meet more Greek gods, particularly Poseidon. Philonecron is always, thankfully, about trying to wreak havoc and get his revenge on poor Charlotte. The only low spot here was the romance element thrown in - I could have gladly done without it.
