With sticker or paper stencils, you generally slap it on a surface, and then use a roller or sponge tip to tap the image into existence. Since this is a metal stencil, getting it right took several attempts. What worked best for me is taping the stencil in place (I was painting it onto a wall), and using a foam roller, since they don’t absorb as much paint as other rollers. The challenge for impatient people (like me) is that you have to go slow and not press overly hard, or you’re going to have paint blobs on the other side. The end result is worth it, and it’s a beautifully made, durable stencil you can actually keep and reuse over and over. Despite the extra effort, I wish more stencils were made this way. And if you don’t want to use it as a stencil, it’s pretty enough to frame over colored paper and hang on your wall.

Gorgeous, sturdy and I will use these so so much. I loved getting this fir wood burning, but can use for so many other things to cars clothing pillow cases etc

One directional point is wrong. There are two identical directional symbols. Do some research to see what the 2nd one should look like

I used this to transfer image for an lter cloth onto a dyed flour sack dish cloth. Turned out great with the set of runes I made for a christmas gift. Perfect!!
