This double-din stereo is not perfect, but I think it is excellent for such a low price point. It fit pretty well in the Metra bracket for my 2006 F-150 XLT, and it looks good in the dash. Unlike other stereos, the manufacturer did not pre-strip the wiring, though that was just a minor inconvenience. The sound quality is pretty good, though the "equalizer" only allows for adjusting the bass and treble and not a variety of sound settings like other similar stereos. I partly bought this stereo because it has the external microphone, which really does help voice clarity during hands-free phone calls. A prior unit I had only had a built-in microphone, and people said it was hard to hear or understand me at times. The mirror link works well, though as of right now there is a 1-2 second sound lag from the video. I am hoping that a firmware or software update may correct this. It would also be nice to have a personalized boot-up screen and background image. The touch screen is quite responsive, and I like the option of changing the color of the backlighting. I used a different backup camera than the one that came with this stereo, and the backup function works very well when I put the pickup in reverse. I have not yet used the included IR remote or the included IR steering wheel controller. All in all, I must say that I have been very pleased and impressed for everything one gets with this stereo for such a low price.

The stereo was an easy install with the correct wiring harness. Match up the colors and you’re done. 10 minutes once you get your old head unit out of the dash. The camera however took me some time. Mainly because of routing the camera wire from the back up camera up to the stereo. And also from the back up camera to my reverse light because I have a back hatch and that’s where I put the camera and my reverse lights are on the side of the back bunper. Anyways once I got a longer camera cord from Amazon I was able to reach the length I needed to complete the task. The camera wires that came with were simply too short for my full size SUV. Easy fix because Amazon sells the same exact wires just longer. The camera quality could be better and more clear but for the price I’m still happy with it. All in all I am happy with this purchase and everything works perfectly. 👍🏼👍🏼 two thumbs up forsure! Buy one already!!!

I will be returning this as it's not at all what I was looking for.Installation was easy and straightforward for me, as I've installed units of this type before and have existing wiring harness. I also already had end spacers from previous install. Overall, this has good sound quality, with easily adjustable EQ and Loudness settings.Why I'll be returning - this is not for Android Auto or Apple Carplay. It connects via it's own app (Hi-Link), but it does not work for my Android phone (Pixel 8 Pro). I guess I should have read more closely as this listing indicates it works with Android 11 and lower - the current version of Android is 14.Bluetooth connectivity works fine. And I was surprised that it includes the AM radio band as most modern stereos are doing away with it.Unfortunately, this stereo is simply outdated and does not fit my needs at all.

I was looking for a backup camera for my truck, and came across this radio. I had no intention of replacing the stock radio in my truck, but the reviews convinced me I should. Installation of the radio itself was pretty simple, but getting the backup camera to work the way it should wasn't. I got it to work once when I had everything laid out, but once I ran the wires into the cab of the truck it wouldn't work automatically while in reverse. I switched the input to the front camera and just switch to that input when I need the backup camera.The quality of the camera itself is a little grainy, but provides enough view area that I can see the entire width of my truck when backing up. The touch screen does lag sometimes, and I have only experienced the issue with the clock resetting itself once.The audio quality of this unit compared to the stock radio if 2-3x better. The equalizer puts out nice bass, even without an amp or dedicated bass. Setup of the Bluetooth was quick, and allows me to listen to my audiobooks while driving without running cords everywhere.I do miss having a CD player, though!
