Works good and keeps knee in place and offers great pain relief
Best fit for son when he is wrestling. Works good and keeps knee in place and offers great pain relief . Cheaper than buying it at the orthopedist.

Didn’t work for me
It didn’t really fit me so great. The strap doesn’t stay on on top and it’s difficult to put on by yourself. Also, it doesn’t help my hyperextended knees at all and that was the main reason I bought this for.

This does the job but for me, required mcgiver skills to make it work.
To stop it from letting the knee bend, I used a zip tie and duct tape to hold the locking mechanism in place, or it popped out continually. This maybe because I'm active with the brace, but it's a weak point. The lever that holds the side in place, so it doesn't rotate around to the front when tightening straps, doesn't work well. it should be held in place by the straps but wasn't. My solution was to stable the pad in place to the strap - on each pad and strap on the non-hooking side. I'm sure other solutions could work. The lowest pads don't lock in place for length either. if it's tight enough it mostly stays where I want it, but even lower it's not an issue so I don't care. Bottom line: It does it's job for me and I'm hard on it. For the money it was worth it. Other's might not want the hassle. Up to you and how you use it I think.

It works but it's painful.
This product does not come with enough padding to fully support the leg. After a couple weeks of usage, I had bruises all over my leg from where the pads gripped my calf, thigh, and knee joints. If you put the brace on any less tight, it will slide up and down your leg with no support. Does it work? Yes, if you use the adjustments on the side to make sure it grips in the right spot. I used my other braces and loved them, but this one was painful.

Excellent quality
The brace is precisely what I needed to limit the mobility of my knee. The hinges keep the joint from rotating out of plane. The range of motion settings are easy to use, and self explanatory, although there were instructions - also easy to follow. The length adjustments also are easy to use.It seemed a bit complicated the first time I put it on, but the straps are all quite adjustable so you can get the brace in exactly the right location. The instructions weren't too clear on that, but it was pretty easy to figure out also. There's a top and a bottom to the brace. This brace is a great value for the price. I recommend it.

though- it's a hassle to put on and you have to pull it super tight or it slowly sludes down your leg
This brace has helped me so much while recovering from a broken knee cap. 2 downfalls, though- it's a hassle to put on and you have to pull it super tight or it slowly sludes down your leg. My best advice, get some Ace bandages, put them on and then the brace. The bandages help with traction.

Slides down and too expensive
I'm returning it. It does not stay on and is always sliding down my leg even when it's super tight. It maneuvers it's way down little at a time and I'm consistently having to pull it back up. It's not doing it's job.
