It is very easy to use and has great suction --- I love the fact that it is water filtration so no dust is spread back into the house and environment!!!

If I knew that it would be this difficult to move around, I would not have purchased it. The basin is easy to put on, but to remove the basin it is very difficult. I like the Rainbow much better than the Quantum X. Don't waste your money.

Pros: pulls the most disgusting things out of your carpet you never knew were there. With my old vacuum, I was constantly dusting, with this vacuum the dust does not go back into the air. The more you use it, the cleaner the air quality is and your carpet is.Cons: it is very, very heavy. It’s hard to maneuver with the tools on it. The vacuum head is very large, which is not good when you have furniture.

I loved that idea of a water filter instead of the normal filter which means no dust or nasty canister to clean. Fill it to the fill line, vacuum and empty when done. I was excited to purchase.Now for the things I don't like about it. I paid over $400( tax included) for this vacuum cleaner when it FIRST came out. I was very surprised at the weight of it, its extremely heavy to push. This vacuum worked for all of ONE WEEK then all of a sudden after using the hose attachment, the compartment that the hose attach to suddenly lost suction and the seal cap is no longer functioning causing a suction malfunction. NOW I can only use the hose attachment because the head piece where the rollers are no longer pick up anything. I tried trouble shooting I tried calling Quantums 800 number no luck they tried to walk me through the process of unclogging, after dismantling the head i saw that there wasn't anything blocking or clogging it.. There's absolutely nothing obstructing the air flow hoses or suction. It just stopped working. Now I am stuck with a expensive vacuum that no longer work total waste of money!

I have had a lot of vacuum cleaners and this one is easily the heaviest. It was presumably checked out before sending it out as a renewed but the belt is either missing or broken, it didn't turn the brush. It is a very beautiful color, but that won't clean my floor.

Issue with vav. After a shorts use it just shuts off. Had to let set for a while then ran for another short bit.look to be returning.

We have 3 Australian Shepherds and live in the mountains. So, lots of hair, dander, dirty paws. When it is working it really does a good job despite being incredibly heavy and challenging to work around furniture. Doing the stairs is a workout in itself. You have to lug the whole upright up the stairs a step at a time with one hand and use an attached hose with attachment with the other hand. The addition of water as a filter, like many reviewer's photos, leaves you with super gross dirty water and a ton of hair and bits to empty. So, that tells you it can work well.Now for our gripes. This thing does not have much to it, but it is really temperamental. The handle, for example, if you don't put the tank into the machine correctly until it snaps into place at the very bottom of the tank, it will NOT work. The roller gets clogged up and is not easy to clean out. The last time this happened, the machine stopped completely. We cleaned the roller and the entire head. It fell over cleaning it with water in it. The instructions say if this happens to empty the tank, keep it off, and let the vacuum upright dry in front of a fan for 24 hours. Then you're supposed to press the tiny reset button on the bottom. We did ALL the above and it still did not work. These things get a 3-year warranty so when you call them with a problem, they usually send you a part, like the handle. This time, they told us to send the whole vacuum back to them without the floor piece or tank at our expense. We have no way of knowing what they are going to do or how long it will take to get it back.I can guarantee that our drag-along Dyson we bought several years ago sucks and our newer rechargeable stick vacuum isn't enough to keep up with all 4 dogs and all the dirt from the outdoors that gets tracked in.I really wanted to like this thing. The technology does work even if it is crazy heavy and super crazy loud.But now, not knowing when this thing is coming back, will have to buy a new vacuum in the meantime.
