This product is worth for or five bucks max. My biggest gripe, other than the price, is the fact that the product comes coiled in a small box. The tubing has creases (dents) in it from being rolled up and those dents do not come out. Also, there is not one contiguous 17 foot strip - there are two 8.5 foot strips which means you are going to have a cut one edge of your door.

This product is great! The adhesive is nice and strong. I had to reposition and thought that would be an issue because sometimes when you peel an item off a surface you're sol. Not with this. No more drafts!

Amazon seems to be listing two different products under the same heading. And the reviews seem to be lumped together.One product is adhesive. The other has to be nailed. I believe the installation type and method varies even further.I ordered the Duck Brand Vinyl Gasket Weatherstrip Seal, which is the one that uses nails. It seems OK. But it only provides about one nail per foot. I found that to be much too few for a good seal. I added nails about every 4 inches. I seriously considered adding double-sided tape as well.I bought this in February 2021 for $7.67, which I think is maybe a little expensive. Home Depot has a similar product from a different brand for $3.93. As I write this, less than a month later, the price is $17.99. $17.99 is a complete rip-off. DO NOT PAY $17.99 for this product.

My old trim split so I ordered this and nailed it in the same place the previous weather stripping was! ( It does not have adhesive to hold it, which would be nice for nailing!) The door would not close! At all! I removed most of the nails and moved it back a bit and it works some better . It was exhausting replacing it and the bottom half still remains unfinished! I’m seriously thinking of a stapler gun!This appears to be a much better quality than my previous, but a little harder to maneuver.

Defibetly make sure it's a super smooth surface. It doesn't work well for older doors. I had to gorilla glue it to the frame.
