Replacement fiber for my Taurus TX22 Tandemkross upgrade front sight
This fiber rod is excellent. The fiber looks like it's battery powered compared to the original fiber. I had an issue with my Taurus TX22 Tandemkross upgraded front sight where the fiber would fall out. Bought the 2mm size and followed some very simple YouTube instructions for replacing fiber. Used lighter and fingernail clippers. Fiber beaded well from heat and no distortion/loss of light. Comes with 2/each of the green, red & orange fibers. The orange & red look nice but nowhere near the glow of the green. This should provide excellent contrast with rear sights to make for nice aiming picture. Highly recommended!

Exactly right.
The front filament on my ruger sight broke at some point. I used this to fix it and it worked perfectly with a little bit of heat to cap the ends after. Great product!

Drilling the sight is the hardest part of the job. Pre punching a drilling spot is important.
The fiber optic material seems to be of good quality, transmitted light well. I use it to make plain pistol and rifle rear sights easier to see . It can be bent to fit making a loop from side to side, thereby tranmitting more light . Just make sure you order the right diameter for your drill size . Ordering more in different sizes. Saves dollars over purchasing fiber optic sight .

The replacement pins are too short for VIPER sights. Of course they don't list length. Charge u $9 to return. Just get filament & soldering iron to melt ends. Ez fix.

worked great
lost the fiber optic on my ruger target pistol. bought these, used 1/2" long piece heated each end with butane lighter carefully. and it was fixed, just as bright as the original. took another pistol without sights and superglued a 1/2" piece to the front sight and a horseshoe piece for the back sight, not quite as bright as the first one but way better than nothing. stick a wire in the hole for the fiber optic and measure the wire to figure out what size you need.

DIFFERENT SIZED RODS PACKED
I ordered the pack of six .040 diameter rods. What I received was 2 orange rods that were the correct .040 diameter. The 2 green and 2 red were a much smaller diameter and useless to me. Beware of this quality control. You've been warned...

3 colors, 2 of each. Suited what I needed perfectly
you get 2 long strips of each color, cut off what you need, install and melt the ends and you are good to go.Fixed the iron sights on the top of my red-dot since the fiber that came with the sight was broken.
