I scoured the web for a senior dog multivitamin with healthy ingredients. Comparing about 50 different products, I analyzed each ingredient and created a slightly flexible list of what I was looking for. This multivitamin has the best ingredients overall for the price point, even beating some of the high end products.A little about my dog.. she is an Australian Shepherd and Jack Russell mix, being on the smaller side. She is now 12 years old and I've had her since she was a puppy. She is still playful and energetic and I want to keep it that way.The vitamins themselves are a bit hard compared to other brands but small enough that she gobbles them up without an issue. I only give her 1 even though they recommend 2 for dogs of her size, but I compared the ingredients with her dog food and there is quite a bit of overlap and I don't want her to consume too much manganese. Just something to think about when stacking multivitamins with a "complete" healthy dog food.She went through one jar and I just received a second jar. No complaints! I suggest doing your own research but from my own I can say this is a great product and I would recommend it.

We have a 14 year old Pittie, as well as 2 younger smaller dogs, aged 1 and 2. Our older Pittie used to play with the 2 year old a lot, but in the last 4 months (coincidentally with the arrival of the youngest addition) our old gal started to fade. She has always had a sensitive stomach, but she got to the point that she was sleeping a lot, OR pacing and not sleeping, and unable to get comfortable. We know she has a little arthritis too and is losing hearing and eye sight a bit. We took her to the vet several times, x-rays and blood work, we just want her comfortable and happy as she ages, and the vet confirmed that nothing other than the progression of aging taking over was going on for her - maybe enlarged kidney or liver as she ages. So, we decided supplements might help her feel her best, help her function, even though we thought she was on her way out and might die in the next couple of months. THESE SUPPLEMENTS HAVE BEEN A MIRACLE for her. She has been taking them for one month. No other changes to her regular food diet. She is trotting on her walks again, and leaps around n the morning. She has pep in her step again, no kidding. She will be taking these supplements for the rest of her life. We have tried lots of other supplements in the last 2 years, for joints, digestion and also for anxiety. THESE SUPPLEMENTS WERE THE ANSWER to all of it. Thrilled with the positive results for our old gal. I am just a regular consumer, all I can say is try them for a month for your senior dog. We are so impressed, worth every penny.

It’s hard to say if these work, because my dog won’t eat them. I have to mix them in her food. I finally just gave up..

Opening previous jars, there was a slight peanut butter scent; chews were dark brown, appeared and felt like solid soft chews. Helped my senior dog, and she had no problems eating it - I mix it in her food. Jar received this month (09/2022, item is on subscription) has a "best by" date of 06/2024. I always check now since I had an earlier problem with "old" stock. Anyway, this "new improved formula" has a very off putting scent that hits you when you open the sealed jar. Smells like a very strong vitamin concoction, looks and feels drier. Did not keep previous jars so can't tell what "improved." Since it still seems to be working, I will take one more shipment and if it still smells and looks dried out, will discontinue and search for another multi-vitamin/probiotic chew.*Update. I have discontinued giving this supplement to my 11 YO dog. She had a bad reaction to it and I can only surmise it’s the reformulation.

When my 15 year old Westie took a turn, I started researching vitamins for her. These had decent ingredients and good reviews so I thought I would give them a try. After finishing the first container, I saw a marked improvement in her movement and her overall cognitive behavior. And she’s gained a little weight again. We are 4 containers in, she gets 2/ day. They have helped her tremendously.

I have two golden retrievers, age 8 and 9. I looked into probiotics after my male developed acid reflux (was licking his paws a lot) and was starting to scratch a lot. He had been on the same senior diet for two years and he started to act up out of the blue.After 3 weeks of having probiotics twice a day, my male is no longer itchy, no longer licks or throws up! It has been working wonders for him.My female burps a lot after eating since we got them the probiotics but she is not showing symptoms that it may be giving her acid reflux, she may just be too excited to see “treats” in there and is eating too fast.I recommend it, easy to use and it works.Pros:not messy, it’s a soft kibbleIt’s smells like vinegar but they like the tasteInstructions are clearCons:Expensive! For two golden retrievers we are going through 8 “kibble” a day and the jar is average size.

I gave this to my baby 15yo boy and he loved it, I could really see a difference in his energy level. Definitely recommended

I don't like the texture of these nuggets. It is very difficult to break them and crumbled unlike other products I tried. Maybe it is due to some tough fillers.

This is my second order of senior probiotic vitamins. The first batch seemed to really work for our 13 year old cockapoo. We noticed a difference in his eye discharge and his energy. This second batch seems dried out, not chewy, we need to add wet food in order for him to eat it. Would have liked to exchange them but they aren’t eligible for return
