Great taste , great staple ❣️
Love these❣️Great addition to cheer up my soups, salads or veggie sides or to top dips. And, a high quality, cost- friendly standby to have around. Stop buying those small expensive bags at the grocery store.

Great alternative for GF!
If your family has a need to be gluten free, these fried onions are a great alternative to the usual ones in stores. I made a homemade white sauce with GF flour for greenbean casserole at Easter using these fried onions. They have a great flavor and the casserole was a hit for all the family, not just the ones GF.

No onion flavor- burnt taste in mouth
Would give zero stars if that was a choice. I had previously purchased another brand 3 times that was fairly good but not available now. These are crushed, have only a slight onion flavor - more like eating cardboard. A total waste of money. Can’t return as it is a food item. I just threw them out. Update- they left a terrible burning taste in my mouth.

Lacking flavor, but liked that they don't contain gluten
I got these because the fried onions you get in the grocery store have gluten. I wanted to make a green bean casserole and I needed gluten free onions along with the gluten free cream of mushroom soup. I found the flavor a little lacking, but I’m only comparing them to Lipton onions that I used to be able to eat, until I could no longer have gluten. Also some of the fried onions were a little hard or sometimes chewy. They didn’t have as much of an onion flavor in the casserole.

Just Bad Overall BUT Good Customer Service
Updated 11/12/24:Adding a star to my original review (2 total now). Doing this as the company stands behind their products and reached out to me to try to correct it. That means a lot. So while I didn’t like the one I got, it could have been a bad batch or just wasn’t our taste. Either way they will stand behind their product so worth giving it a try if you’re looking for gluten free options.—————————-So I have gotten gluten free fried onion and some are good, however they are not available so I wanted to try these. First, they come in a bag so by the time they reach you they are tiny bits. I wanted to give them a try though so before using them on some chicken I took a small bite and, well, that initial bite just gives a foul, bad taste. Maybe the oil, maybe the cooking method or the ingredients but I literally had to throw the bag out after. My wife tried a bite and how to spit it out. I know good ones can be made gluten free but I don’t think these are them.
