Works great and looks nice!
It's powerful and sharpens quickly! Very easy for kids to use and great color! The pencil holder on the sharpener is a nice feature and the ability to use with batteries. I would recommend opening it over a garbage can to empty when full of pencil shavings. The way the compartment is shaped could cause a mess when full, if opened without being careful.

Okay for quality but LOUD!
The media could not be loaded. Sharpens nicely, and great that it can hold pencils, can be battery operated or plugged in, but it is the loudest sharpener I have ever experienced. Fine for me, but it is not sensory/sound friendly. (I have a disabled autistic child at home so this noise starts to get him going and does upset him) but if you have a regular household or an office and you’re not concerned with that and this is great for the price!

Gives a perfect point on colored pencils
I bought the Riyo Riyo Electric Pencil Sharpener Heavy-Duty Helical Blade Sharpener because I like to draw and using the regular hand pencil sharpeners always broke the lead on the colored pencils and I would constantly have to try to get a perfect point for fine lines - not to mention the cleanup of the pencil shavings are messy. I really like the fact that this pencil sharpener makes a perfect point without breaking the lead , catches the shavings and it also automatically stops when the point is perfect. It is very convenient that this particular model can be run on batteries if you are drawing outside - and can also be plugged up to an electrical outlet when at home. I find the included cleaning brush to be very convenient. One of the best features of this pencil sharpener is that there are 3 different sharpness options sharp, medium and blunt. Great for school children that tend to break the lead on their pencils. I'm glad I made this purchase.

This pencil sharpener is a monster. Take 3 seconds to sharpen and stops when done. Seriously perfect.

Pencil sharpener
Works great, grandkids love it. With it being a pencil sharpener and pencil holder, it allows them to keep a few that are ready incase one breaks.

Small, works well
I like to draw with colored pencils. This little sharpener works well on all my pencils. Batteries, so no cord. Small and light; It fits in my art carry-all & has a receptacle so shavings are contained. Clean and neat. I wish I'd bought this ages ago.

Not working properly
The media could not be loaded. The sharpener stopped working. It starts and stops . Not a good reliable product. I bought it few months ago. And it’s been like this since month 1
