In an effort to cut down on plastic use, I bought these 8 oz glass bottles to put nutrition drinks in. I got these with the metal caps, but I also bought the plastic ones, cuz I'm planning to wash them quite a lot and the metal ones will eventually start rusting.So now, instead of buying Boost drinks in their plastic 8 oz bottles, I buy the powdered version of the drink mix; and using a small pitcher + powdered lowfat milk, mix them all up together. ( we switched to Carnation Breakfast essentials light, fyi it's better, cheaper and has more vitamins) Then I fill these glass bottles and refrigerate. These bottles are nearly the exact size and shape as Boost drink bottles. And now after we all drink our morning Kickstart, the bottles go into the dishwasher and not the trashcan. Actually, if rinsed out immediately there's no real need for dishwasher.I'm very happy with this purchase and I highly recommend purchasing these. Especially with plastic lids.

I have bought these bottles twice now and they are great for a thicker style hot sauce! I like to make my hot sauces with a little consistency and I've tried the long neck bottles and they get clogged. Everything pours just fine out of these wide mouth bottles. And they are easier to fill! I did have an issue on my second purchase where a few of the plastic lids were cracked and broken. I emailed the seller from the info on the card in the box and let them know and the sent me replacement lids in just a few days. Great company and service! Thank You!

I ferment my hot sauces in a brine for at least a week. Usually closer to a month, or more. I've used normal hot sauce bottles before and have had complaints with the plastic piece in and out. This helps it to come out easier and increases the size by 3 ounces for a bigger price tag! I love these and will be coming back for more!

These glass bottles are great. The glass is thick and sturdy. The tops fit perfect, Absolutely No Leaking!! I'll be buying more.

Great for hot sauce and easy to fill especially considering the wide mouth. Just a note though if you plan on using these for hot sauce or other very harsh/acidic liquids. I would recommend the plastic tops. They may not stand up to a long boil canning process but I just freeze any excess I make. The metal tops would be eaten away at with by the harsh liquid. I tried storing a fermented hot sauce in mason jars with metal tops once and they completely rusted out.

I used these bottles to store samples of maple syrup that I made. The stout round shape made it easy to apply decorative labels and makes the bottles easy to handle.

Due to having other glass items from a different retailer arrive shattered, I was beyond hesitant to buy off-line again. However, because I brew my own probiotic drinks, such as Kefir, and I needed a smaller oz. bottle, I decided to, once again, “risk it”., but chose a listing that showed the actual retailer selling, and not just Amazon. That way if I had an issue, it would be easier to take care of.They arrived safe and sound. Although, one did have a couple lines that causes it to appear as if it is cracked, my hubby inspected it, and says it’s just like a string of glass that stuck as it was cooling when it was being taken off the pole. Although I am a perfectionist, the string of glass does not bother me because it adds character.I am excited to use these bottles, and will definitely be ordering again when and as needed.

I used these to package my homemade hot sauce to give away for Christmas. They are the perfect size. Also, the black lids seal tight and are cleaning-looking. Will re-purchase!

Loved these bottles., strong glass, easy to clean. I wanted to order more but when it said buy it again the price was almost double.

Some shoddy glasswork on nearly every bottle I received. Looks like cracks in the glass, but I think it might just be terrible glassmaking on display.

Great bottles for homemade sauces! They seem quite durable and the plastic lids are very good.
