Not bad, a few bugs
Pros:Fully customizable ramp up and down (Can do more than just sunrise/sunset)Programming the app, although is not intuitive, is super easyI'm happy with the overall brightness and colorsCons:Cannot set the storms on a schedule(this is a big downer for me, I would like these on a schedule, sad thing is its just software and could change in a heartbeat if the company actually cared about its customer happiness)Paid $180 for it a few months ago, now its $99.(Makes me feel bad, also clearly the company is squeezing its customers for massive profits. Why wasn't it $99 to start?)App support is done(Clearly this app was made hastily as a one off thing for the life of this product and was not intended to be constantly improved. And for that matter their different light series don't share the same app. Different ecosystems is silly and impractical.)The color channel separation is less than ideal(For example, red is a separate channel, but blue is permanently combined with white leds)Although there is 1 physical button, perhaps a few more would be better, maybe on/off, storm, night etcFor those with connection issues, my 2.4ghz SSID was hidden, and the light couldn't connect. I made it visible and it connected right away, then hid it again and it still connects.Overall for the current $99 I don't think you'll find a light with more enhanced features.

Has a few quirks
I purchased the 24" freshwater fixture for my 29 gallon bow front tank. So I mostly like this light fixture. Had a few glitches trying to get it to connect to the wifi signal, but it finally did it. The app took some time to figure out as it isn't super intuitive. The thing that is odd to me is that there is no moonlight function. I can leave a channel on all night at level 3 (level 1 and 2 are off still). Also the only blueish lights are the UV bulbs, and they are on the same channel as the white lights, so leaving them on all night is too bright. So that leaves you the other channel with the warm white lights, or the channel with the red lights, none of which look good for moonlight. The fixture seems plenty bright for the tank. But another odd feature is the the brackets that hold the fixture onto the tank are designed in a way that the light sits down inside the aquarium at least a 1/4 inch down. So you cant really fill the tank all the way up or the light fixture gets wet.Seems like for $130 they could fix some of these simple features and make something that would work better.

The app killed it
The App is a complete joke. It's like the company let a high school tech student design it. The actual light is beefy and looks really well designed but trying to figure out the app settings is not worth it. I am switching to fluval 3.0 planted. Also if you have a 20 long, this light will not be long enough so it just sits on top. If not for the app I could have looked passed the size but without the app this light is pointless

Works well
Definitely fills the fish tank with light. Range of programming options through the app is nice. Sunrise feature is nice.No manual on off switch is a bit annoying. Took Multiple reboots to get connected to my WiFi. If the WiFi goes out it appears to reset and go back to default settings leaving the light on all day.
