Buy this, not that.
I’ve tried a lot of these MagSafe finger loop stand things and I definitely have my preference.Prior to this, the loop I’d use most is from Torras, with a silicone loop and kickstand that looks a lot like this design, only with the finger loop on the outside of the ring. It was great because it was thin, had magnets exposed on the backside for stacking, and the loop put my hand, and finger, in a comfortable position. However, I quickly noticed that the finger loop dangled for no reason as it would ultimately fold upward while in use. This had me looking for something just like this. And so I’ve bought one. It is as excellent as I’d imagined it would be. My finger and hand are positioned in the same spot but the finger loop is much more discreet. One aspect I prefer is the large loop kickstand, a feature I liked on the prior loop and made a requirement for any future stands. Despite having a similar design, this loop is thinner in profile than the Torras… and lighter. And I may know why: zinc. The Torras is definitely made from aluminum but this loop is made from zinc. You can just feel how it lacks any density but it is stiff enough. It’s a step above plastic, mind you.Another surprise is the removable/interchangeable finger loop. I’m not sure if there’s going to be much of a market for them, but it came with 2 extras in the pack. After accidentally pulling off the finger loop just getting it out of the package, and fiddlef—king around to get it back in, I fear the inclusion of extra straps is not promotional, but charity, via a question of reliability. The way they’re attached reveals several, physical weak points that could fail over a very short time, depending on how you use it. I wouldn’t make a habit of hanging the full weight of the phone from the finger loop is all I’m saying. One possible issue, depending on quality control, could be the kickstand hinge rubbing against the glass backplate. This whole assembly is thinner than similar designs and here’s where they lost that “extra” height. This doesn’t matter if you’re using a case, obviously, but if you’re using something “backless” for cooling, it’s something to keep in mind.Overall, it feels like a “dollar store version” of the Torras design, except the finger loop is more discreetly pointed in the proper direction… but at what cost? Despite all of these little issues, and the backhanded compliment, it’s staying on my phone for now, and will likely remain there until it fails me or something better comes along.

Outer ring just loosely flops after a couple of months. Silicone doesn't last long.
The outer ring got very loose only after a couple months so now it can't stand my phone up. Still very useful as a finger grip. However, after my 3rd Silicone loop broke, I realized the product is not made to last. I do have a 3d printer though and I managed to 3D print my own loops with TPU.I really like it as a grip, just wish it lasted with full functionality longer. And while I was able to fix a particular element of mine with a 3D printer, that's not accessible to most people.

Comes apart too easily and can lose pieces
I think the stand feature for viewing is the only real benefit. The ring is detachable because it is magnetized to the phone, but I lost the phone holding piece (basically the functional part of the product) within a month due to ability to detach so easily.

I’ll buy this again
I was on the hunt for a perfect phone loopy and after trying multiple different products, I settled on this one. I love that it magnetizes to the back of my phone. The kickstand is super helpful. And the loopy is perfect for making my phone feel super secure in my hand. The back of the ring is also a magnet, so you can leave it on when you connect it to your car mount and stuff like that. I was hoping you could still charge your phone with it on, but that’s not the case. But since it’s easy to pop off and pop back on, I don’t find it to be super annoying to take it off while I’m charging it overnight. It comes with extra loopies for when you inevitably lose one. They’re pretty secure though and don’t disconnect from the ring easily.

Cute and practical. Just what I wanted.
Exactly what I wanted to make sure my phone doesn’t slip. Only downside is, it will stick to the car mount in my car since it’s magnetic.

Uncomfortable and not very magnetic
This is very uncomfortable to use, the thin outer ring hurts your fingers abd the strength of the magnetic hold is barely functional. It falls off my phone and scratches the case. Looks as pictured but not functional and I had to buy a different one after only a week.

Makes owning a big phone easier for small hands
This makes it easier to hold my phone and gives it a kickstand. Plus I love the color. I use it all the time.

Meh
I kept this but am not a huge fan of it. The instructions (yes, I’m that old) are “foreign” to me, they could be more “instructional” and my box was missing the magnetic plate. Having said that, customer service was quite supportive and helpful. Functionally, I do like the ring for positioning and it is the ring that I actually use to hold my phone instead of the loop, which just doesn’t work well for me. It may be due to the size of my phone-14 pro- or my hand. The magnet seems strong enough not to be fearful that it would fall off but I have had it do that once while I was “playing” with it. Would I buy again? Probably not.
