I was in the market for an affordable and simple gel nail polish kit. I wanted a top coat, a base coat, and at least one color. I enjoy UV gel nails because they are tougher than regular nail polish and give my nails additional strength. I am a miniature painter, and while painting I have a habit of using my left thumb nail as a pallet while holding a miniature. It's a habit I don't forsee breaking anytime in the near future, but I also want my nails to look decent for those video and photo posts.I love this set because I can keep all my nails black like I like and use the white on my left thumb nail since I use it as a pallet. The paint wipes right off my nail with soap and water or IPA and the polish still has a shine like I just finished curing it.To make this work, you need to follow the directions.- Use a nail dehydrator or make sure you use acetone on your nails to remove all oils, lotions, makeup, etc.- Thin coats are exactly that: thin. The coat should be sheer and even all over the nail. Thick gel will not cure evenly. If your gel is wrinkly, bunching, or uneven after curing, it's probably too thick.- Expect to need at least two coats, and get used to doing three. Cure after every layer.- Darker colors may require longer curing times. I usually find that I have to do an extra cure on my black nails.- Put the gel on the edge of your nail as well. Gel shrinks as it cures and you may see it pulling back from your nail tip ever so slighly. Making sure you put gel on the edge of your nail tip ensures that 1. it's protected and 2. the gel is less likely to show as much shrinkage near your nail tip.I hope these tips help.

The quality of this nail polish is amazing—goes on smooth, dries quickly, and has beautiful color. But the bottle is so small! I only got about 1–2 uses out of it, which was a letdown. Great polish, but not much of it.

so in love with all of these colors. all beautiful and vibrant. i personally use them for making my own press on nails and they glide on easily. i usually do two layers to make the color really pop, but if you are looking for that more popularized sheer look, one is great (still has good coverage!) worth every penny. i will definitely be getting more of these in other colors in the future.

The colors are so beautiful and fun, perfect for summer or whenever you want something playful with a bit of shimmer. I used a light blue base under the polish, which made the cat eye effect even more vibrant and bold. That’s why the finish looks more solid and not as glassy or sheer as it might on a clear base.The magnet worked really well, and the velvet effect came through nicely on all shades. The polishes cured easily under my LED lamp, and I had no issues with application or chipping.Highly recommend this set!
