CAYNEL 20 Liter Compact Fridge Cooler and Warmer, Portable Mini Personal Fridge, Dual-Core Cooling System with Adjustable Digital Thermostat, Cool Down to 35ºF Below Ambient Temperature

I originally purchased this mini fridge from amazon and received an item that had return labels attached from a previous buyer. The item appears to be used. Upon leaving a bad review I was contacted by the manufacturer Carnel. They advised me that the item was sent from the amazon warehouse fulfillment. So to satisfy the customer they agreed to send me a replacement. I was overjoyed and couldn’t wait for it to arrive. The item actually arrived pretty quickly and the manufacturer comforted me with their great customer service. However upon opening it and plugging it in the fridge was rapidly beeping at me with a flashing green light. The whole screen was also flashing the temperature and it was currently at 77. I pressed the setting and put my desired temperature in and mind you it is still beeping madly! I’m frantically searching through the manual to find out why this machine is beeping at me when a loud pop came from behind the machine and I could smell burning plastic! The entire screen blacked out and I quickly unplugged it. The make things more frustrating I have reached out to the manufacturer and have since heard from them. I have sent a total of 3 messages and they have not replied to one! What if it caught my house on fire or actually blew up! Would they respond then?! I’m completely unsatisfied and would say do not to purchase!

Fridge doesn't cool down to 35 below ambient temperature as advertised. I put this in my bedroom, my room temperature is 72, I put a thermometer in it, set it to 35, and after 8 hours of running, it only gets to 55 and stay at that temperature. The worst part is, it was at 45 before when I turned it ON because when delivery guy left the package at my door and it was 35 degrees outside, that's mean it can't even keep that cool air inside the fridge at 45.This fridge can NOT meet a minimum temperature for a fridge. Very disappointing !

The temperature control in my application is only good to about 5 degrees, and doesn't settle at the set temperature, is usually a little low by 3-4 degrees. I'm using it only about 10 degrees below the room temperature, this can be tough for a controller. For larger temperature differences between the set temperature and the room temperature the control might be better. I have not tested the temperature with a good thermometer. My unit is in a bathroom, the fan is not noisy, but noticeable.

Love it. Doesnt take up too much space. Comes with 2 small shelves. Too small for a water bottle to lay down but without 1 shelve it was better. Also come with side storage but doesnt fit much. But it's very nice and gets pretty cold. So far so good. 2 months in

Works great. You just have to understand the capabilities of this unit is based on the ambient temperature.

Perfect for my cosmetics!! I’ve had for a few months and it keeps my facial cosmetics cool.
